Information and Terms and Conditions for:
Platinum Pass, Grad Pass and Uni Life Pass
Access and Offers:
We have different Union Passes:
• Platinum Pass: Valid until June 2027.
• Grad Pass: Valid until July 2027*.
• Uni Life Pass: Valid until July 2030**.
*A Grad Pass is a Platinum Pass plus a Graduation and Summer Ball ticket for 2027.
**A Platinum Pass is valid for your four years at University plus a Graduation and Summer Ballticket the year you graduate.
During term time your Pass entitles you to:
• Free club night access all year long to our standard Union-run events.
• Free access to Freshers’ and Refreshers’ events.
• Free access to sellout events like: Halloween, Winter Wonderland and St Patrick's Day.
• Priority access before midnight.
• Queue skip.
• Free use of cloakroom.
• Complimentary bottle of bubbly for your birthday.
• You + 2 = Bring up to two friends for free to specific club nights throughout the year (dates tbc).
How to get the perks:
• When purchasing a Pass some tickets will automatically go into your native account when available (our ticketing platform) or you must claim your ticket depending on the event type.
• Our venue has a fire capacity which we cannot exceed to keep our customers safe. As a result, entry is subject to capacities.
• We reserve the right to refuse admission.
• No refund will be issued if refused entry, banned or asked to leave.
• You cannot transfer your ticket to another person.
• As a Students’ Association all members are subject to our rules and disciplinary procedures.
Who can purchase and use a Pass:
• Students over 18 from the University of St Andrews or reciprocal University.
• Students under 18s from the University of St Andrews.
Refunds:
• Don't know if you've got a spot at University yet? We can offer refunds until 10am on Thursday 20th August.
• Once you have purchased a Union Pass, you have a 14 day ‘cooling-off period’ during which you are eligible to a full refund providing that you have not used your Pass. This 14 day period will commence on the day of purchase.
• Although St Andrews Students’ Association fully intend to present the events and club night programme as advertised at the time of your purchase of a Union Pass, this cannot be guaranteed. Occasionally acts, artistes or club nights are cancelled due to illness, or reasons out with St Andrews Students’ Association’s control. If such situations arise, St Andrews Students’ Association will do everything in its power to provide a suitable alternative, providing that it is viable to do so. However, if this is not possible, please be aware that refunds will not be given.
• If The Pass has been used we cannot offer a refund.
• No refunds will be offered to Union Pass holders who are refused entry or ejected.

We welcome St Andrews students (our ordinary members), University and Union staff (associate members), alumni, students at reciprocal unions, and guests signed in by our ordinary members.

Lost property
We keep lost property for about 2 weeks. Email union@st-andrews.ac.uk with a description of what you lost and we'll see if we've got it.

Refunds and Wristbands
The Wristband (pass) is non-transferable and linked to your personal registration details. Attempting to share or duplicate passes may result in denied entry.
Entry cannot be guaranteed without presenting the QR code (digital wristband).
